About TrafficPatternsXD
TrafficPatternsXD — the XD stands for Extremely Durable — is a decorative pavement marking system engineered for the harshest pedestrian and vehicular conditions. The heavy-duty thermoplastic is reinforced with performance aggregate bound through the full material cross-section, delivering enhanced skid resistance under wet-surface bus traffic, turning movements, and concentrated wheel loads where painted lanes will not survive a single season. Heat-fused permanently to asphalt or concrete, the system pairs the visual richness of stamped patterns with the longevity expected of preformed thermoplastic. Specified by Canadian municipalities and transit authorities coast to coast for crosswalks, BRT corridors, plazas, and high-volume intersections.
