How it works
Traffic calming works when a driver sees the street change before a sign says so, and colour and texture do that at a gateway, a speed table, a roundabout apron or a raised crossing. StreetPrint stamps a pattern into the asphalt of the calming device itself, so the texture is in the road rather than on it, and StreetBond pavement coating colours it; the same coating marks the sidewalks, pathways and plazas around it. TrafficPatternsXD, aggregate-reinforced preformed thermoplastic stamped into the asphalt, carries the raised crosswalk and the school zone treatment under heavy traffic. MMAX colours a whole calming zone in the same closure.
