Crosswalks

A crosswalk has two jobs: it tells a driver that someone may be crossing, and it keeps its grip under the people who do. HUB builds crosswalks in preformed thermoplastic. TrafficPatterns is heat-applied to asphalt or concrete and bonds to the surface; TrafficPatternsXD, the thicker, aggregate-reinforced sheet, is heated on prepared asphalt and stamped into it, for intersections with heavy, turning traffic. Both carry anti-skid aggregate through the full material, so the grip lasts as the surface wears, and both hold their colour through plow blades and de-icing seasons. DecoMark adds custom graphics for a crossing that carries a community's artwork, and DuraTherm sets the marking into stamped asphalt where a plow would strip anything that sits on top.
