Community Branding Adds a Ray of Sunshine to Sechelt’s Downtown Core
TrafficPatterns was used to create four pedestrian crosswalks in Sechelt, BC. Bright yellow rays of sunshine on blue backgrounds are now features in the down-town core as part of the communities work to enhance community branding.
Sechelt’s downtown revitalization advisory committee recommended installing a decorative crosswalk as a 2014 priority project, to help welcome the public to the community’s commercial core. HUB and the TrafficScapes Certified Installer, Square One Paving worked with District staff to develop the design, which incorporates the community’s colours. Installation was completed over the course of only two days.
